Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! FunPass is the only official and fully secure secondary ticket resale platform of funcode.hu.

Unofficial ticket exchange platforms have no ability to verify whether a ticket offered for sale is actually valid or whether it allows access to the event, and nothing prevents a ticket from being sold multiple times, either on the same or on different platforms. In such cases, even if the ticket is valid, only one person can enter the concert with it, and all other holders of the same ticket will be denied entry. In addition, even if the ticket is transferred on unofficial platforms, buyer rights are not transferred – therefore, although you purchase a ticket through such a channel, the original ticket buyer continues to exercise the buyer rights, and important information related to ticket usage and event attendance is still received by the original purchaser, not by the person who bought it on the unofficial ticket exchange platform. It is also worth mentioning that on unofficial platforms tickets are often sold at a significant markup, frequently at several times the original price, thereby providing fertile ground for modern-day ticket scalpers, those who aim to profit from ticket resale.

In contrast, on FunPass only valid tickets are guaranteed to be listed for sale, and for tickets purchased there, full transfer of tickets and buyer rights takes place, ensuring safe and lawful secondary resale of tickets. Finally, tickets offered on FunPass can only be resold at the original face value of the ticket, making profit-based ticket resale impossible.

No. On FunPass, tickets originally purchased on funcode.hu within a single transaction can only be sold together, without splitting the original transaction.

As soon as your tickets are sold, we will notify you by email – and you can also check the status of your listed tickets after logging in at www.funcode.hu/funpass.

Once your ticket is purchased by someone, the amount due to you will be refunded to the bank card used for the original ticket purchase.

This process is automatic and takes place immediately once your ticket has been sold. This transaction type is known in banking as an “online card payment reversal,” and it is processed differently by each bank. Whether you receive a notification about such a transaction, how your bank posts it, and when the funds actually appear on your account may vary; for further information, please contact your account-keeping bank.

No. The FunPass service is only available for certain events. You can find the detailed list of these events at www.funcode.hu/funpass. If a specific event is not listed on the page, it is still worth checking back from time to time, as the list of supported events is continuously expanding and changing.
